The day TMSA Apex upper elementary students had been eagerly waiting for finally arrived!
The day started off like any other, but, as the morning progressed, a sense of anticipation build among the students. And, finally, the moment arrived. Principal Alden, Assistant Principal Carter, and Erdogan took their places on the lawn next to the cafeteria, each wearing a black plastic bag.
The
students erupted into cheers and chants of "Pie in the face! Pie in the face!" Ms. Carter and Mr. Alden took the whipped cream pies gracefully, but then it was Mr. Erdogan's turn. Instead of accepting his fate, he revealed a sinister plan and pushed the black plastic bag up to protect his face from the pie!
The students were not to be outsmarted, and they chased Mr. Erdogan down, determined to pie him in the face. Eventually, he realized he couldn't escape his fate, and he put the pie on his face himself, to the delight of the students.
Despite Mr. Erdogan's initial resistance, everyone had a blast. The Pie in the Face event was a chance for the kids, teachers, and administrators to have some fun, let loose, and show appreciation for each other. For the students, it was a day they would never forget, filled with laughter, excitement, and the thrill of getting to pie their beloved administrators, even if one of them tried to outsmart them!
